Welsh Water
We provided support to Welsh Water in creating a water safety strategy to deliver recreational water activities. The project involved consultation with a wide range of stakeholders, including British Triathlon and Swim Wales. To ensure their team were fully equipped with the skills to run the proposed open water swim sessions, Atlantic Crest delivered a comprehensive, bespoke water safety training and first aid course.
Aquaparks
We have worked with a number of centres with Aquaparks, writing their risk assessments and operational and emergency plans. Atlantic Crest deliver an Aquapark Lifeguard Qualification, fully accredited by the Institute of Outdoor Learning. The training also covers aquatic casualty care and spinal management.
EDF Energy
The Project involved development of a comprehensive water safety management policy, including guidance on compliance with statutory obligations, identification of key water hazards and appropriate control arrangements.
Department of the Environment (Northern Ireland)
The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs have a large workforce working around the water margins. We delivered the Aquatic Safety Qualification to over 400 of their water scientists including lifejacket training.
Clyde Training Solutions
We provided water safety training to Clyde Training Solutions. To ensure the team were fully equipped with the skills to run the proposed training sessions, Atlantic Crest delivered a comprehensive and bespoke water safety training programme, covering rescue, spinal extraction and management.
